Reiseverlauf
Day 1: Reception at the airport in Agadir. Transfer to the hotel in Agadir and dinner together.
Day 2: In the morning you will drive to Aourga north of Agadir, where you will meet the horses and guides. The ride leads over gentle hills through argan trees and cacti. From the hill Tizi you can see the foothills of the high Atlas with its red mountains and deep valleys. Descent to the village of Imiwader on the Atlantic Ocean, where you already enjoy your first beach canter! In the afternoon you will cross a plateau, passing several Berber villages. Your destination is the valley Ait Ameur, where you pitch your tents.
Day 3: You follow the valley to the Berber village Tamri. From here you follow the picturesque coast, characterized by sand dunes and pink rocks. In the afternoon you will ride along a narrow path along the cliffs to Assaka. The further way leads you past several small Berber villages and through a forest of argan trees. Overnight stay in a tent near the fishing village Imesouane.
Day 4: After a short visit to the fishing village, you will get back into the saddle and follow a historic route along the cliffs. The view of the sea and the cliffs is fantastic. In the afternoon, you will descend through the picturesque dunes of Tafdna to a lonely wide beach, which invites you to exuberant gallops. Overnight stay in a tent at the foot of the dunes.
Day 5: From the coast we first go into the hinterland, through fields and argan trees. You will pass again some typical Berber villages. In the afternoon you will ride back to the sea. The ride ends with a nice gallop on the beach of Iftane. Overnight stay in a tent with view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 6: You will go again to the rural hinterland. The villages here are surrounded by corn fields. You will enjoy your picnic today at the waterfalls of Marabout. Afterwards you follow the way back to the coast. Wide, beautiful sandy beaches extend to the village of Sidi Kaouki. On the lonely beaches only numerous water birds cavort. A beautiful picture when the white gulls fly up in front of the galloping horses.
Day 7: Today we continue our journey through lonely bays with wide sandy beaches, passing several fishing villages. After Cap Sim you finally reach the wide long beach off Essaouira. After a last wonderful beach canter, you leave the horses in Diabar and have lunch. Afterwards you will explore the lively city of Essaouira, where you will have plenty of opportunities to visit markets and craftsmen. Spices, silver, fine fabrics, leather goods and much more can be admired - be happy if you have enough room in your luggage. Overnight stay either in Essaouira or in Agadir, depending on the flight schedules of the guests.
Day 8: Transfer to Agadir (bus station/airport) and departure. Subject to change at any time! Every second appointment is ridden in the opposite direction, i.e. from Essauoira to Agadir!
