Unser Tipp
Spend a few days before or after the tour in Krakow - it´s worth it! There are many sights in the surrounding area and you can spend a few days in the city.Beschreibung & Reiseverlauf
The Biesczcady National Park is located in the extreme south-east of Poland, on the border with Slovakia and Ukraine. The cross-border UNESCO biosphere reserve rises to an altitude of 1350 m. The low mountain range is the most sparsely populated region in Poland with just 5 inhabitants per square kilometre, making it a paradise for those who love solitude and nature. Adventurous riders can expect a nature expedition in unspoilt countryside. The Biesczcady National Park is known for its variety of plant and animal species. Not infrequently deer, hares, squirrels or foxes cross the riders´ path. But also wolves and bears have an ideal home here. Only a few small villages lie on your way. Some of the inhabitants belong to the Eastern European tribe of the Lemkos, which is reflected in the traditions and also in the architecture.

Adventure trail through eastern Poland
Day 1: Arrival in Krakow and transfer to the hotel in the city centre. Those arriving early will have the opportunity to explore the city on their own before the group meets for dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is worthwhile to spend a few days visiting Krakow, a city absolutely worth seeing!
Day 2: Sanok - Wielo Pietrowa
You will be driven to Sanok today (about 4 hours transfer time - departure time about 6 am). Around 9 am you will stop for breakfast before you continue towards Sanok. Sanok is located near the Polish-Ukrainian-Slovakian border. There you will meet your horses and start for a first ride in the surroundings. You will cross large, wide areas and pass some forests. The untouched nature and the gallops will inspire you!
Day 3: Gorna Wetlinka - Laczki
You continue to follow the green meadows, ride over smaller hills and enjoy again the wide view of the original Biesczcady mountains. You will have your lunch break today at the river San. Afterwards you continue your ride through the wild nature.
On the way you will pass several typical villages and see a 19th century Orthodox church, which you can also visit. Overnight stay today in Laczki, a small village in the valley of the San, with locals.
Day 4: Laczki - Rybne
Today you cross the river San again and again and ride at a brisk pace over fields and through forests. Also today you will reach again and again one or the other abandoned Polish village, where you can see ruins of orthodox churches. You will have lunch today in a hotel in Berezka. After the break you will ride through beautiful, untouched nature, over fields and through forests. In the evening you will be welcomed by locals in Rybne.
Day 5: Rybne - Terka
You will cross some wide open bottles and follow the ridges of the mountain with a beautiful view of Lake Solina - also known as the "Sea of Bieszczady". It is the largest artificial lake in Poland, fed by the San and Solinka rivers. You will ride through the village of Bukowiec and have the opportunity to visit another orthodox church (in Gorzanka). If the weather is fine, you will climb Mount Korbania with a beautiful view of the region. You will spend the night in Terka, where you will be warmly welcomed by friends of the guide.
Day 6: Terka - Dwernik
Another day for absolute nature lovers lies before you. You ride through beautiful open areas with a view of the surrounding hills and meadows. You will ride through once densely populated villages such as Krywe and Tworylne, where you will see the ruins of a 19th century Orthodox church. Today you will have your lunch break in the forest.
