Do you own a horse and want to go on vacation together?
Then you've come to the right place! Also possible with a rental horse, which is like your own for the duration of your vacation. Arrival from the age of 16 with parental consent. 

Whether as a group from the same riding stable at home, the family with the family pony, sporty rider with training ambitions or the trail riding group with their leisure horses: Treat yourself and your four-legged friend to a break from everyday life at the privately run 3-star country hotel in the wonderful heathland in Lower Saxony. The idyllic farm is located between the Dümmer lake and the Steinhuder sea between Hanover, Minden, Osnabrück and Bremen. An ideal place to relax and enjoy time together with your beloved horse. 
There is also the option of hiring a reliable horse, which is brought to farm and is at your free disposal. If you are traveling with several people and only have one horse of your own, you can hire the second one and go on your own to ride tour together, just as you please. This vacation is also ideal for individual travelers who would like to have their own horse for the duration of their vacation.

Reiseverlauf

Horse:
Your horse's well-being is also well catered for here: carrots or apples as a welcome treat are the perfect way to start your vacation. Accommodation is in the bright horse stable in boxes including your own outdoor paddock with sand. The doors can be fully or half-closed if you only want a box with a window. Mucked out and littered daily, feeding 2 or 3 times a day on request. Keeping stallions is also no problem. In addition to stand 2 spacious open stables are available. Here your horse enjoys all-inclusive: feeding with either freshly crushed oats, barley, pellets or occasionally maize. Very good hay is available 24 hours a day for individual feeding. 
Straw and, on request, shavings (one-off €10 extra, payable on site) are a matter of course. 
Year-round pasture use (without road crossing) with plenty of space and equipped with drinking troughs, riding arena, cross-country arena with natural obstacles and water, washing area, over 20 cross-country jumps in the surrounding area and several well-signposted bridleways through the heath leave nothing to be desired. Maps and trail riding maps to stand are also available for the interesting network of bridleways.

Riding program:
You are free to choose and design this to suit your taste. The possibilities are extremely varied:

Rides of up to 8 hours in three different heathland areas are possible here and offer variety as well as forest- and field paths, a paradise for anyone who wants to ride out. A little further on you will find the moor with old transport routes, which are now safe, wide grass paths and sometimes stretch for kilometers through the terrain to lead - a pleasure and ideal for a brisk gallop!

The riding area starts directly at farm, you do not have to cross road (only a country lane).
Beginners as well as passionate cross-country riders will find different levels of difficulty and tricky, varied jumps in the terrain, which are regularly maintained. 
Or use the riding arenas to exercise or lunge your horse.

Carriage drivers are also very welcome and may drive anywhere and use the many paths through the moor and heath.
If you wish, you can take lessons in dressage, show jumping or cross-country jumping with qualified riding instructors. Two dedicated professional riders to stand are available on site for this purpose.

A special feature is a fenced-in area with lake. There you can go swimming with your horse, a very special experience.

Or simply go for a walk with your horse in the picturesque surroundings - all options are open to you to stand .

Wellness:
After a long ride, you can relax in your own wellness oasis and treat yourself to a relaxing break. 
Take advantage of the spacious Finnish saunas, bio sauna, steam bath, foot baths, circular shower, fireplace room, relaxation room with heat shower, sauna garden with loungers under trees and the vitality bar with delicious snacks, drinks and current magazines in the recently expanded and modernized wellness temple. An extensive range of massages and cosmetic treatments by trained staff offer holistic relaxation for body and soul. Massages to order.

Surroundings: 
Accompanying family members, friends and non-riders will not miss out either. A wide range of activities are available at to stand , such as hiking, a game of golf, mini golf, bowling alleys, playgrounds and bike hire.
Regular activities on offer include guided hikes and horse-drawn carriage rides. An ostrich farm, the local zoo and a stud farm are also located near the hotel.

Insider tip:
The hotel is an ideal place to experience a quiet and relaxed New Year's Eve.

Unterkunft

In a lovingly restored farmhouse, guests can choose between approx. 50 Double/twin occupancy or Double/twin occupancy comfort (larger), single occupancy or apartments (various sizes for 2-5 people). All are fully equipped and have their own bathroom, TV and cleaning service.
The included and varied breakfast buffet offers the perfect start to the day. Fresh ingredients from the region are used, you will look in vain for ready-made products here. Coffee, tea, cocoa, juices, bread, sausage and cheese are just some of the options available to feast on to your heart's content and get your day off to the best possible start.
At lunchtime and in the evening (not included) you can dine in our own restaurant, in the café or in the beer garden in good weather. How about freshly grilled food from the barbecue station on the large, partly covered summer terrace with a view of the horse pastures? A piece of cake at lunchtime in the café with conservatory or a fresh salad with regional ingredients? Let us spoil you with coffee specialties, fresh cake, Prosecco, a freshly tapped beer or something hearty like homemade burgers, tarte flambée, salad or schnitzel! The staff are multinational and speak German, English and French as well as other languages.

Pferde, Reiten & Zaumzeug

Pferde: Program with own horse or rental horse (Haflinger, Shetty, Arabian, warmblood from riding level L).

Sattel & Zaum: English, or own saddle/ tack.

Reiterfahrung: Independent riding for advanced riders rider. Beginners can take riding lessons or take part in guided rides (for a fee).
