Reiseverlauf

Cilento riding week:
From the end of May to mid September, when it sometimes gets very warm in southern Italy, you can book the riding week with about 12 hours in the saddle. You will usually get one riding lesson in the morning on the arena. You will be taught by a qualified riding instructor in English or Italian. In the afternoon/evening you will go out into the countryside.

This riding programme is also suitable for less experienced riders and beginners. The groups will be separated accordingly. Beginners will gain confidence with first step rides on well trained and reliable horses. For advanced riders there are some nice trot and gallop sections along the way. The Cilento is a wonderful riding area! At full moon a night ride with campfire and music is organized. The view of the sea at full moon gives a special atmosphere.

Cilento Star Rides:
You undertake 2 shorter rides of about 2 hours each as well as 3 day rides with lunch picnic. Depending on the season, the rides lead into the mountains to historic villages with views over the coast or sometimes through the hinterland down to the beach. Bookable March to May and September to October.

Star rides & cooking course:
For advanced riders and connoisseurs there is our weekly program with 3 day rides and 3 days cooking course. Enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean landscape on the one hand and the delicious Italian cuisine on the other. From homemade pasta to ricotta and dolci like Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. On well-behaved horses you will ride through olive groves, oak woods, fields and mountain ridges with views over the coast. In between you will discover historical buildings: dreamy old villages, churches and monasteries are in abundance in the area. Depending on the route you take, you may also walk along the beach.

Non-riders: Pool and sea (m. car max. 10 min.) besides horse riding, cooking and art courses are offered, in the nearby village mountain bikes can be rented. Also for hiking the Cilento is very beautiful. Besides the picturesque landscape there are numerous historical sights nearby, such as the old town of Agropoli (the gate of the Cilento, the monasteries of Padula and Pattana, the grottos of Palinuro, and numerous ancient villages and castles.

Unterkunft

The overnight stay is in spacious double rooms with shower/WC in the Agriturismo. The guesthouse in typical country house style is embedded in huge olive groves. From the pool you have a view of the densely wooded slopes. Although the farm is not far from a small village, you have the feeling of being in the middle of nature, far away from all civilization. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or find a secluded spot among the olive trees.
In the main house you will find the restaurant and the kitchen, quasi the heart of the Agriturismo. Here delicious Italian dishes are conjured up with a large portion of love. A large part of the ingredients come from our own organic production, from ricotta to olive oil. You may even have the opportunity to watch the cheese, pasta or oil being made. In the wine cellar you will not only find our own wines, but also other exquisite wines from the region. Let us spoil you for a week!
On the huge grounds of the farm, between fruit and olive groves, live the goats and horses of the farm. A particularly enjoyable life is led by the donkey, which only has its task as the mascot of the farm.
