This beautiful beach trail is perfect for all those who dream of lively gallops on the beach, as the Atlantic coast in the south of Morocco offers the very best conditions for this: Endless deserted sandy beaches offer plenty of space and the ideal surface. Discover the coastal landscape between Agadir and Tiznit. In between, you will pass through sand dunes, along cliffs with magnificent views of the roaring Atlantic and across sandy plains in the hinterland. Many birds can be spotted in the Massa nature reserve. The daily riding time is approx. 6 hours and you can ride at all gaits. Fun for experienced riders!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Agadir and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 2: The ride begins near the beach south of Agadir. You follow the coast to the fishing village of Sidi Toual. Overnight stay on the beach or in a typical fisherman's grotto. These seasonal dwellings were carved directly into the cliffs by the fishermen. You spend the night in a comfortable camp in traditional style.

Day 3: Today you cycle through the beautiful nature reserve of Massa. You ride through the dunes, along impressive cliffs and through picturesque bays. Numerous seabirds flock here and accompany you on your way. The view of the vast ocean and the steep cliffs is breathtaking. Overnight stay in a small hotel in Sidi Rbat. 

Day 4: You ride through a wide river delta, a protected area for birds. Flamingos can also be spotted here from time to time. Picnic with a view of the ocean. Continue through the picturesque palm grove of Massa. Overnight stay in a beautiful hotel with pool.

Day 5: Ride on towards the south. The coast is characterized by steep cliffs and picturesque bays. Here, too, there are numerous fishing caves - and seagulls. Picnic on the beach again. The hinterland is characterized by wide sandy fields. Sparse bushes and dry grass make up the sparse vegetation, but you may well come across flocks of sheep or donkeys, which find plenty of feed here. Overnight stay with a Berber family. Please note that the family provides 1-2 rooms for the guests and offers them legal hospitality. A unique insight into the life of the locals!

Day 6: Today you reach the Ranch. The horses happily follow the familiar 15 km long sandy beach. You enjoy your picnic at water before heading a short distance inland to Ranch , where you end the day on one of the beautiful sun terraces. 

Day 7: On the last day, explore the picturesque coastal area around Ranch on a half-day ride. Wide sandy beaches and large sand dunes promise a great riding experience. In the afternoon, you have the option of a relaxing massage (not included) or a dip in the pool of the neighboring vacation resort (within walking distance).

Day 8: After breakfast, transfer to Agadir and departure.

Accomodation
You will spend 3 nights in a hotel, 2 nights at Riding centre, 1 night with a family in a private house and 1 night in a traditional-style comfort camp with high tents and camp beds.
The food is typical of the country with lots of fruit, vegetables, couscous, potatoes, eggs, poultry and fish. At lunchtime, a sumptuous picnic is brought from the support vehicle. Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks are not included.

Saddle & Tack: English trekking or endurance saddles and snaffle.

Experience: Advanced rider with trail experience and confidence in all gaits. You cover a good 30 km a day, the last day a little shorter.

Horses: Arabs, Berbers and crosses of both breeds
