For someone who has never been to Portugal, it is impossible to imagine the diversity of this small country steeped in history. And just like its inhabitants, the horses, the Lusitanos, know how to express their attitude to life in dance!

Portugal is a country rich in tradition countryside with first-class horses. The elegant Lusitano in particular is the flagship of this country! On all programs you have the opportunity to enjoy varied rides on these beautiful animals.
Portugal's landscapes are enormously varied. The "Costa Azul", the Blue Coast, measures 180 km of coastline - just as long as the Algarve. While the crowds throng the south, the southern west coast of Portugal is virtually deserted and the hinterland is "left out" despite its scenic charms and cultural monuments. This is of course particularly pleasing for rider - so you can really enjoy your riding vacation! South of Lisbon lies the mouth of the Rio Sado. The nature reserve, which covers an area of 23,000 hectares, is home to dolphins in the calm lagoons of the deep blue river. From here, 60 km of sandy beach stretches southwards, interrupted here and there by lagoons and small fishing villages.

Climate/travel time: The best time to visit is March to June and September to November. Midsummer is also a good time to visit due to the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean, but the Alentejo should be avoided in midsummer.
